Will Harris is a writer, essayist and editor. During his residency in Spoleto he will work on the manuscript for a new book of poems based around imagined and alternative families, exploring themes of artifice, play and repetition.
He was the recipient of a Poetry Fellowship from the Arts Foundation in 2019. He co-edited the Spring 2020 issue of The Poetry Review with Mary Jean Chan. His first poetry collection, RENDANG (UK: Granta; US: Wesleyan University Press), is a Poetry Book Society Choice and shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection 2020. His essays and poems have been published in the Times Literary Supplement, London Review of Books and The White Review, among other places.
